The hotel presented a comfortable king room with a huge bed and ample space for belongings, complemented by friendly and helpful staff. However, the location is concerning. it’s situated in a high-crime area with visible social issues. While the lobby and amenities are inviting, the surroundings are dominated by run-down establishments, making this a less desirable choice. A notable dining option nearby is Carolina BBQ, but safety when parking is a worry due to the people wandering around.

The room was super cozy with a nice king bed, and the mini fridge was a lifesaver for my late-night snacks. I loved lounging by the seasonal outdoor pool and enjoying some downtime in the lobby with the huge TV. Just a heads up, the bathroom could use a little touch-up, but it didn't ruin my overall experience! 😊

I had a pleasant stay at Sonesta Select in Spartanburg. The room was exceptionally clean with a comfy king-sized bed and lots of space to move around. The kitchenette setup with a mini-fridge and microwave made it easy to prepare light snacks. Wi-Fi connection was strong, no issues there. The front desk staff were welcoming and quick during check-in. The breakfast options offered variety and were very filling. However, the noise from the nearby highway was constant and made it slightly hard to relax at times. The shower had some temperature control issues, taking a while to reach a decent warmth. Also, the parking situation was a bit confusing, especially with the layout around the hotel. Overall, it was a nice experience with some minor setbacks that could be easily improved.

During our visit to see the local attractions, we had a wonderful experience overall. The staff truly stood out, especially the friendly morning person who shared honey with my wife—it was such a thoughtful gesture! The only downside was the cleanliness of the sofa bed, which could have used some attention, but that didn't overshadow the generous hospitality we received.
